Do I need to have an Elite™ Electronic Lock to use VaultLink™?

YES. VaultLink is specifically designed to pair with our Elite™ Electronic Lock. An added benefit of VaultLink is you will no longer have to charge your Electronic Lock once you have integrated with VaultLink!

What if I need to Valet park or let someone else access my vehicle?

VaultLink™ offers a valet mode (manual mode) that you can enable with the flip of a switch to prevent unwanted access in these situations.

What if I don't have a power port accessible from inside my safe?

At this time, Vaultlink™ MUST have access to power from inside your safe.

Compatibility

The VaultLink module is currently compatible with specific safe applications, and designed to pair with the Elite Electronic Lock. To check if your safe is compatible, check out our VaultLink collection here.

Requirements: 

  1. Your Safe must be compatible with our Elite Electronic Lock 
  2. A power port must be rest INSIDE your console safe. Closed box safes and safes without access to our console's power outlets are not currently compatible.
  3. The power to your available ports must IMMEDIATELY turn OFF when your vehicle's ignition is turned off, and back on when the ignition comes back on. (to test this, you can plug a phone into the outlet and turn your car off to see if the phone immediately stops charging)

Nice Addition to the Electronic Lock

This is a nice edition to your ConsoleVault if you have or can get the electronic lock and you have a switched USB outlet or switched 12V outlet with a USB adapter inside the safe (meaning, it switches on when the vehicle is on and its off when the vehicle is not running). Fairly easy to install, the hardest part is reaching inside the vault and routing the wire along with the attachment pads while it is in the vehicle. Hint: Hang the attachment pads and the plastic ties loosely from the wire, then remove the backing on the pads and press in place, wait a bit, then tighten the plastic ties and cut the extra plastic tie oiff. Also, clean the inside of the safe with rubbing alcohol wherever the pads will end up before starting all this to remove any oils and give the plastic pads a better chance of adhering. It works great and as advertised. Nice safety addition to the safe.

This item is a great little enhancement to the console vault; simple to install and works like you'd expect. It wasn't technically compatible with my particular vehicle (2023 Chevrolet Silverado ZR2), but I special ordered a flat USB cable with low profile 90 degree plugs and it worked like a charm.
