Wish I had ordered this years before. Installing is easy; just follow the directions.

Vault is as advertised.Easy install and fit perfectly.Instalation in 10 minutes.

Good fit in the compartment and easy to get in. I did read about longer screws prior to installation made additional holes to secure the vault on all four sides with the longer screws. It is in securely. My concern is the latch is visible (can be seen in the photos on the site) when closed and could possibly be attacked. Personally I would like the door a bit bigger, to more easily accommodate getting a larger pistol in and out. Overall is what I was looking for in being able to secure my weapon and other valuables for brief periods when necessary.

The mounting was easy with no issues. The only thing that I would complain about is the tumble lock, as the numbers are difficult to see while seated in the vehicle.

I purchased the console vault for my Ford Explorer about a month ago to have a safe place to store my gun and valuables while away from my car. It was probably the simplest thing Iíve ever put together in my life and itís securely bolted into my console. Iím no longer worried snatch and grabs from thieves and I donít have to worry about valet drivers or guys at the car wash coming across items that arenít theirs. Iíll continue to purchase a console vault for every model of cars that I own and it is made for. Please note, you will lose a little bit of console space, but I found I didnít really need a ton of junk shoved into my console anymore.
